By Control Engineering Staff -- Control Engineering, 1/24/2007

Foxboro, MA—Following an extensive executive search, Invensys plc has named Paulett Eberhart CEO and president of its Invensys Process Systems division. Paulett Eberhart, formerly with EDS, a global technology services company, takes the helm at Invensys Process Systems.

Eberhart was most recently with EDS, a global technology services company, which she joined in 1978. She held a number of senior positions there, including president of the Americas, its largest operating unit. Of her new role, Eberhart says, “I accepted the position at Invensys Process Systems because I saw a company that is poised to focus on breakthrough strategies to improve its customers’ competitiveness. Process System has strong product capabilities and the next step is to understand how to wrap the services component around its products to help improve customer performance. It is an exciting time for Invensys Process Systems with huge opportunities,” she added.

Commenting on the move, Ulf Henriksson, chief executive of Invensys plc, said, “Our customers in industrial automation are increasingly seeking solutions and services that improve the efficiency and safety of their operations and, with the recent launch of our Asset Performance Management strategy, we have been adapting our business model to ensure that we address these needs. Paulett has been very successful in growing similar businesses within EDS and I know that she is looking forward to the challenge of leveraging the significant opportunities which have been created within Invensys Process Systems.”
