More outside engineering expertise needed, says HiTech Control Systems

Oak Brook, IL – Tough economic times increase the need for industry to seek technological expertise, suggested Michael Shea, president of HiTech Control Systems, 2009 Control Engineering System Integrator of the Year winner. Shea made the comments to Mark T. Hoske, Control Engineering editor in chief, in a 3:55 minute podcast.
While nothing is certain, he concedes, Shea was reasonably certain that industrial markets served by HiTech Control Systems, Green Bay, WI, will continue to grow in the coming year. Customers increasingly seek system integrators to manage projects, taking more of a leadership role, as resources grow thinner.
