    3 Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) representatives visited New Berlin, WI, Dec. 19, 2007, to present ABB with a VPP Star Award, given to only 2,000 out of 7 million companies. ABB New Berlin is the only ABB site globally to have achieved the Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) “Star” status, the highest honor the program can award a facility’s employees. Presenters noted at the ceremony, attended by nearly 300 New Berlin-based employees, that “this is our opportunity to commend businesses dedicated to being proactive, rather than reactive in pursuit of optimal safety.” www.abb.us/drives
