The processor incorporates up to 4 MB of internal memory (data storage upgradeable to 16 MB), an SD card for permanent flash memory backup, a mini-USB port, and two additional communication ports (choose from Ethernet, CANopen or Modbus). Both compact and rugged, the Modicon M340 PAC exceeds IEC industrial standards and can be programmed using Schneider Electric’s Unity Pro IEC 61131-3 development software.
