Cahners Supply Chain/OEM Group sets online trade show

Staff -- Control Engineering, 9/1/2001

Newton, Mass.—Control Engineering will participate in several events during the first annual SupplyChainLinkExpo on Oct. 17-18. The free, online tradeshow is expected to attract more than 7,000 registered attendees, none of whom will have to leave their offices to attend.

An online roundtable discussion, "Ethernet and Industrial Networks," will be moderated by Mark Hoske, Control Engineering's editor-in-chief. Participants will include Michael Bryant, executive director, Profibus Trade Organization; David Glanzer, director of technology development, Fieldbus Foundation; and Frank Wood, executive director, ControlNet International.

Another event will be an interview with W. James McNerney Jr., 3M's ceo, by Dave Harrold, Control Engineering's senior editor. They will discuss acquisitions, lean manufacturing, e-productivity, Six Sigma, and customer satisfaction.

SupplyChainLinkExpo—produced by Control Engineering and the Cahners Business Information's Supply Chain/OEM Group—will harness the collective expertise and market reach of 10 market-leading business-to-business publications covering the full scope of the supply chain. Reed Exhibitions Company, a Cahners corporate affiliate, will also participate.
