Free customer satisfaction surveys available to manufacturers

Staff -- Control Engineering, 11/1/2001

Avon, Ind.— AFAB Group launched Sept. 25 a customer satisfaction measurement service for the instrumentation and control industry. AFAB's website allows authorized manufacturers to create free, product-specific customer satisfaction surveys.

After selecting and approving survey and product types, survey development authorization is validated, and a uniquely coded URL is provided for linking on a web site and/or embed in e-mails, inviting customers to participate in the customer satisfaction survey. Manufacturers are also provided a free, secure online reporting area where they can view up-to-date survey results. AFAB further offers comparison reports among competing companies and products without revealing individual names.

Currently available surveys include: analytical instrumentation; flow instrumentation; level instrumentation; pressure instrumentation; sensors and transmitters; temperature instrumentation; weight instrumentation; data acquisition systems; and controller or control systems.
