Foundation fieldbus webcast rescheduled for Jan. 31

Baytown, Tex.— The Fieldbus Foundation (Austin, Tex.) will hold its rescheduled webcast here at Lee College on Jan. 31, 2002. The web-based broadcast will be available beginning at 12 noon CST and at noon in subsequent time zones.

The webcast is entitled "FOUNDATION fieldbus: an Open, Integrated Architecture for Information Integration."

The event will include:

  • Technology integration presentations from Fieldbus Foundation members;
  • Industry experts describing and demonstrating the integrated H1+ and high-speed Ethernet (HSE) fieldbus architecture;
  • Answers to e-mailed questions about device and subsystem interoperability from fieldbus experts; and
  • Plant optimization via sensor-to-boardroom information integration.
