Mannesman Demag, Moore Products, Xycom, Pick Leaders

Recent major moves in the control and automation fields include the following:

Germany-based Mannesmann Demag AG appointed Colin Pearson, managing director of Delaval Stork (Henglo, the Netherlands) division, as president and ceo of Demag Delaval Turbomachinery Corp. (Trenton, N.J.). Delaval Stork and Demag Delaval Turbomachinery are both divisions in Mannesmann Demag's engineering group.

Donald E. Bogle was named president and ceo of Moore Products Co. (Spring House, Pa.), and will also serve on the company's board of directors and its executive committee. Mr. Bogle has 27 years of global process control experience, and worked most recently as president of Honeywell's home and building control division.

Xycom Inc. (Saline, Mich.) appointed Thomas Gross as its new president and ceo, and elected him to its board of directors. Mr. Gross was formerly a vice president and general manager of Rockwell Automation.
