Control.com adds engineers at Open Control Laboratory

Staff -- Control Engineering, 1/1/2002

Westborough, Mass.—Control.com Inc., the global online community for control professionals, has appointed two senior engineers, Dr. Marc Bumble and Terence Creevan, at its Open Control Laboratory, an independent testing facility dedicated to the advancement of interoperability in industrial controls.

Dr. Bumble will be the lab's senior software engineer. An open software expert with more than a decade of experience in communications, he will work with low-level control software, including operating systems and drivers. Most recently, Dr. Bumble worked as a software consultant on a variety of Linux/UNIX development projects.

Mr. Creevan will be the lab's senior controls engineer, and will work with high-level software, including human-machine interfaces (HMIs), graphical user interfaces (GUIs), and connectivity to proprietary packages.
