Staff -- Control Engineering, 9/1/2000

Sainte Foy, Quebec, Canada Adept Technology Inc. (San Jose, Calif.) announced July 24 that it has acquired HexaVision Technologies, a Quebec-based machine vision R&D company. HexaVision develops high-performance vision software for machine and robot guidance in the photonics, telecommunications, semiconductor and automotive industries.
