AlterSys, Lutze form partnership

Charlotte, N.C.— AlterSys, a manufacturing software supplier, and Lutze, an open control components supplier, announced July 17 their partnership to offer an embedded solution combining AlterSys' Virgo 2000 open control software with Lutze's DIONet PC controller for decentralized Ethernet control and networking. DIONet PC will be pre-configured with Virgo 2000. The system is configured through AlterSys' workbench, which features all IEC 61131 languages, flowchart, debugging, and online monitoring tools.
