Düsseldorf, Germany— Interkama '99 —the international trade fair for industrial communications, automation, measurement and analytics—has announced two major enhancements to this year's fair, Oct. 18-23. First, it will join with ISA, the international society for measurement and control, to hold an ISA Tech conference during exhibition. Secondly, there will be a "Sensor Newcomer Center" for first-time exhibitors. objectives are to provide users and vendors a forum for technology exchange, so they can identify problems, discuss production solutions, and raise the competency of measurement and control professionals.
