Ovation adds HART and FOUNDATION fieldbus

Pittsburgh, Pa. - Emerson Process Management's Westinghouse Process Control business recently released Ovation 2.1. Key release 2.1 enhancements include HART, FOUNDATION fieldbus, Fast Ethernet, and SCADA Server support. The HART and FOUNDATION fieldbus enhancements allow Ovation systems to connect to Emerson's PlantWeb architecture and Asset Management Solutions software and to take advantage of the additional information provided by intelligent field instrumentation. SCADA Server support allows connecting and operating SCADA applications through the Ovation system.
