Centum gets new I/O system and a five-year warranty

Newnan, Ga. - Yokogawa recently announced extending the warranty on Centum CS3000/1000 R3 hardware manufactured by Yokogawa and sold and delivered in North America to five years. This announcement followed an earlier announcement describing CS3000 R3 enhancements to include a new I/O system suitable for use in classified and harsh environments. The R3 I/O system is designed for use in Class 1, Division 2 Groups A, B, C, and D (Zone 2) environments, meets ISA G3 environmental ratings for corrosion resistance, and includes an operating temperature rating of -4 to 158 °F (-20 to 70 °C). Controller to I/O system communication is via high speed Ethernet with support for up to 10 nodes with each node containing up to eight I/O cards. Redundancy is available for traditional and FOUNDATION fieldbus I/O interfaces.

Yokogawa
