Cincinnati, O. - AStudio 5.0 contains several enhancements to its predecessors. The HMI/SCADA development platform includes a WebLink OPC server, direct dial modem support, e-mail file attachments, and new graphic objects. The product enables remote controlling and monitoring from outside the plant using standard web technology. WebLink OPC server implements open connectivity to SCADA and integration software. New applications include pushbutton, list box, and smart message. Other enhancements include a main driver sheet, unicode support, and dynamic IP address support.
