AC drive designed for test stands

Franksville, Wis. - Unico's 2400 Performance Vector Drive contains software specifically designed for test stand (transmission, component, etc.) and dynamometer (engine, chassis, emissions, etc.) applications. The modular, all-digital drive features a Velocity Observer that determines motor speed and acceleration using a transducer or estimates those parameters without a transducer via motor current and voltage measurements. For high motor speeds needed in certain test stands, a Fast Vector Rotator module expands the drive's speed range up to 1,000 Hz. A Torque Estimator eliminates the need for costly, complex torque-measuring devices.
