Software for SNAP Ultimate I/O

-- Control Engineering, 9/1/2001

Temecula, Calif. - ioControl, a flowchart-based control programming software, allows users to develop control and data acquisition applications quickly and easily. Control engineers can program with an extensive, self-documenting, plain-English command set or use a powerful, built-in scripting language for math, conditional branching, string handling, and other complex functions. ioDisplay is a Human Machine Interface (HMI) package for developing operator interfaces for Microsoft Windows-based clients communicating with the SNAP Ultimate I/O system. ioDisplay allows users to create graphical HMI using original or pre-existing commands, symbols, and bitmaps while also offering advanced alarming and trending features. Users can plot trends using real-time and/or historical data. Alarm thresholds can be established and prioritized and, should they be exceeded, audio and visual alerts can be triggered. ioControl is included with the purchase of SNAP Ultimate I/O while ioDisplay is priced at $99 US per seat.
