New ways to extend control system design

Brookfield, Wis. - ECT International's Raceway Multi-Pack provides new ways to manipulate and extend control system design within 'promis-e' electrical design software, an AutoCAD add-on. Raceway module shows connections between multiple panel layout or termination diagram pages. Shortest Distance Routine module generates a connection list to minimize wire lengths. Forced Wire Routing module allows user to define a specific connection when shortest distance may not be the most efficient or practical. Termination Diagrams Generator produces graphical representations of wiring, to ease installation and troubleshooting. A promis-e standalone version also is available.
