Cscape version 4.5 released

Indianapolis, Ind.-Horner APG recently released Cscape software with over 25 new functions and programming enhancements. Cscape provides a programming, managing, and debugging environment for Operator Control Station (OCS) industrial control devices, an integrated solution that combines the I/O system, controller, operator interface, and networking capabilities in a single package. Significant among Cscape 4.5 features is an alarm management function block designed to provide traditional alarm handling, but implemented as a unique ladder-logic-based function block. Other features include support for forcing I/O registers and support for additional controller and operator interface resources such as 128 K of ladder, 9,999 general purpose registers, 16 text fields on all text-based OCSs, and support for a second serial port (RS-232 or RS-485).
