Control Technology Corp. expands MultiPro line of controllers

Hopkinton, Mass.-Control Technology Corp. has added seven new models to its MultiPro family of industrial controllers, expanding the MultiPro product line to thirteen. The MultiPro series combines I/O and motion control in a single, integrated environment, with networking options to extend integration to other control and data systems. Features incorporated into the new MultiPro models include:

• Dual and quad stepper support;
• Dual and quad servo support;
• DeviceNet and Ethernet connections; and
• I/O count increased to up to 64 points per module.

All MultiPro servo modules are Programmable Limit Switch (PLS) aware, a feature that is especially useful for applications that require both high speed and precise control. In addition to stepper and servo control, cam following is available on previously released MultiPro models. MultiPros support both analog and digital I/O.
