CI Series crystal insulator

Irvine, Calif.-CI Series Crystal Insulator line is said to offer an added margin of security providing ideal protection against thermal degradation and short-circuiting. Manufactured from ultra-thin (.005 in) Mylar EL-21 UL rated 94V-2 material, the self-retaining insulator is mounted beneath the crystal, providing increased reliability, temperature and burn resistance while requiring no additional PCB real estate. Acting as an insulating layer of circuitry, it provides dielectric strength of up to 1,400 volts per mil and protection against melting to 487 °F. Available in a range of sizes, the series can accommodate standard crystal-lead spacing pattern and up to three case styles.
