CompactPCI cards with K6 power

-- Control Engineering, 10/1/2000

Dallas, Tex.-Two CompactPCI cards with AMD 500 MHz K6-2+ and K6-III+ processors bring improved price/performance to embedded industrial applications. Super Socket 7 processors consume less power than other processors with comparable performance. Both cards include shockproof on-board DRAM memory, watchdogs to monitor temperature, voltage, fan operation, and timeouts, an industrial BIOS capable of operating the CPU board without graphics, and PXI trigger lines for data acquisition. The boards also include PC-MIP slots providing additional I/O module flexibility.
