Renton, Wash.-MS-880 fixed position bar code scanner features a read range of 20- to 90-in. making it ideal for applications requiring a clearance zone. Its auto focus enables reading at varying distances, good for applications like packages on a conveyor line. Optional industrial protocols such as DeviceNet, Profibus, and Ethernet embedded on the scanner allow direct connectivity as a node on a network. An optional wiring box allows accessories like displays and light stacks to be directly wired to ports in the box. Other features include user-programmable sweeping raster, IP65-rated housing, and internal diagnostics.
