Bi-directional turbine flowmeter
-- Control Engineering, 8/1/2000
City of Industry, Calif.-TIM7 top-insertion turbine meter is said to be ideal for use with contaminated or 'dirty' liquids. The inexpensive device uses flow inserts that allow for both flow range changes and simplified maintenance without removing the meter from the process piping. Designed for low pressure drop and a wide viscosity rang, TIM7 offers standard linearity of ±1.0%, repeatability of ±0.2%, and over-range protection. A hose barb, 1-in. NPT/BSP/MS thread, and flanged connections are available installation options. For hazardous environments the flowmeter is supplied with an integral, explosion-proof coil boss. Flow range is from 0.75 to 1,200 gal/min. Operating temperature is -20 to 225 °F.
