New enclosure design cost less and does more

Springfield, O.-Rittal's new TS8 enclosure system cost 20% less, is 30% stronger and 15% lighter than Rittal's PS 4000 family of modular enclosures. The TS8 enclosure system is the result of several years of intensive R&D efforts to create a new 'standard' in enclosure systems. TS8 standard enclosures have designed in EMI protection, full enclosure bonding without cables and straps, meet Zone 3 seismic requirements, and incorporate a symmetrical design that allows enclosures to be placed side-by-side, front-to-back, in a corner, or any imaginable configuration. Where 'all around' access is required, TS8 enclosures can accommodate four doors, or hinged sidewalls. The unique patented TS8 design even allows sidewalls to become heat exchangers.
