Stack gas analyzer for dirty or hydrocarbon applications
-- Control Engineering, 12/1/1999
Pomona, Calif.-The new self-contained, wall-mount Model GPR-95 stack gas analyzer from Advanced Instruments Inc. measures percent oxygen levels in severe applications such as cement and lime kilns, steel and glass furnaces, and catalyst regeneration and various acid recovery processes. The electronics module features four standard ranges of 0-1%, 0-5%, 0-10%, 0-25% or four user-specified measuring ranges; an integral temperature control heater system for stability and accuracy of ± 2% of reading over ambient temperature swings of ± 30º; isolated 4-20 mA and 0-1 V dc signal outputs to external devices. It has two adjustable arms and separate sensor and power failure alarm relay contacts. Sensitivity is 0.5% of full-scale range and operating temperatures cover a range of -10 to 45ºC.
