Sight flow illuminators

-- Control Engineering, 12/1/1999

Prophetstown, Ill.-New compact sight flow illuminators from Penberthy provide glare-free illumination of the internals of sight flow indicators, pipelines or tanks which are normally closed and not conductive to inspection. Used in conjunction with sight flow indicators or conventional sight windows, these lights mount directly to the sight indicator or sight window via a hinged bracket. The illuminators are available in different sizes to fit most size sight-flow indicators. Models can be supplied with optional input voltages of 12 or 24 V dc or 120, 230, or 240 V ac, with or without a built-in transformer and with optional lamp wattage. Penberthy DIN controller with fuzzy logic The PX-3 1/32 DIN controller with fuzzy logic control PID autotune from Electronic Development Labs Inc. utilizes the patented fuzzy logic algorithm to ensure that the process remains at setpoint, virtually eliminating overshoot on startup and during in-process disturbances. It offers many standard features such as: NEMA 4x faceplate; 85 to 264 V ac input power, multiple inputs programmable from the easy-to-use front panel, relay and SSR drive outputs, 8-segment ramp/soak programming, and many levels of security to prevent unauthorized use.
