Clean-in-place ANSI valve

Irwin, Pa.-Valves can become clogged when chemicals or other media coat the ball, fill the valve cavity, and solidify. This usually leaves the device inoperable. In some cases, the seats can become damaged as the valve is operated, when hardened material scrapes against the seats. Leakage may occur. PBM's ANSI valve features clean-in-place capability by using purge ports and either one or three specially milled flats on the ball. These features minimize coating and plugging and allow for cleaning in place.
