5-phase microstepping motor and driver

Torrance, Calif.-Nanostep CFKII Series consists of a 5-phase hybrid stepping motor and a high-resolution microstepping driver. Motors-standard or high-speed models-come in four sizes (1.1-3.35 in.2 cross section) with a holding torque range of 4.6-890 oz-in. The open-frame, modular drivers offer 16 user-selectable resolutions up to 125,000 microsteps/rev., work from 24-V dc input, and supply either 0.75, 1.4, or 2.8 Amp/phase output for motor control. A special mid-frequency resonance suppression circuit is built into the driver. CFKII Series is said to provide up to ±3 arc minute position accuracy. www.orientalmotor.com Oriental Motor USA Corp.
