Tiny temperature measuring system

Wilmington, Mass.- AD7314 is a complete temperature monitoring system in an 8-lead micro-SOIC package. With its bandgap temperature sensor and 10-bit ADC, the chip can monitor and digitize a temperature reading to a resolution of 0.25 °C. The device easily interfaces to digital signal processors and most microcontrollers. The on-chip temperature sensors allow ±2 °C accuracy measurement over a range from -35 to 85 °C. Suitable to portable and battery-operated applications where low power and voltage are key, AD7314 is intended for use in PCs and process control equipment. www.analog.com Analog Devices Inc.
