At these voltage levels, there is no need for a transformer in many applications. Resulting cost and space savings complement the direct-drive objective. DDR high-voltage motors offer two types of feedback—sine encoder or resolver, peak torque ratings up to 225 lb-ft, and speeds up to 500 rpm for driving direct-coupled loads with large inertia.
