Temecula, Calif. —Pathways and Crossroads are two new product families designed to address the growing need to integrate plant information with enterprise systems.

Designed to deliver plug-and-play simplicity, Zoneworx's products connect real-time digital, analog, and serial information from plant floor devices, such as pumps, valves, flow meters, analyzers, and barcode readers to enterprise business systems using existing business system networks.

Pathways' products move information from plant-floor devices into enterprise databases and business applications with just a few mouse clicks, combining high performance microcomputers with embedded Web Server, 16 Mbytes of memory, Ethernet, TCP/IP, OPC (OLE for process control), and ODBC (open database connectivity) technologies.

Pathways' ease of use features include auto configuration, hot swap, and browser-based system management features that permit "out-of-the-box" to acquisition of real-time data within 30 minutes.

Using simple object-based interfaces with access to hundreds of built-in configurable functions, Pathways' users can:
