White light sensor for print marks
Staff -- Control Engineering, 3/1/2000
Springfield, O.—Said to be the first white light sensor, WM03 reflex sensor detects printed markings of any desired color. Any color combination is now possible; for example, dark green markings on a light green background, white markings on a yellow background, or white stripe between yellow and black stripes. A small, rectangular spot (2 x 2.5 mm) is adjusted to the shape of marking to be detected. The unit can be ordered with either pull-in or release delay of 10 msec. When operated in normally open mode with release delay, light markings on a dark background can be recognized. pull-in delay is suitable for recognition of dark markings on a light background.
