Control flow automatically

Staff -- Control Engineering, 1/1/2000

Georgetown, Tex.—Reported to be the first automatic, all-Teflon flow controller for industrial applications, Model 401 system needs only a 24-V dc power supply to work. It measures and controls flow as low as 15 ml/min or as high as 8 l/min. The all-Teflon and sapphire-wetted parts make it ideal for ultra-clean fluid applications. Miniature turbine wheel and infrared beams permit 10:1 or better turndown ratios with ±0.25% full-scale repeatability and ±2% FS accuracy.
