Southington, Conn.— Logipal family of color sensors is said to be highly accurate in detecting the finest color nuances in artificial and ambient light, and at high speeds. Available in two- or four-channel versions, teach-in adjustments are made using three buttons on the back of the sensor. Up to four colors can be taught by pressing a button, and up to five levels of tolerances can be set separately for each channel. Sensing distance is 40 mm, spot size is 3 x 5 mm, and the response time for color detection is 300 sec. The connector base can be rotated 180 degrees for easy cable positioning and routing.
