Servo in a 17 frame
Staff -- Control Engineering, 8/1/1999
Covina, Calif.— SilverMax Integrated Servomotor comes in a NEMA 17 frame size. SilverMax is available in three stack sizes in both the standard and the higher torque "H" models. The controller, driver, and encoder are all integrated on the back of these motors. Each component has been specified to work together so engineers can concentrate on developing their product, not the motion control system. All SilverMax models operate on a 4,000-count, 1,000-line optical encoder, which provides .009º ( positioning accuracy. SilverMax accepts pulse and direction input from an external controller. Unique to SilverMax is the ability to switch into anti-hunt mode to eliminate servo dithering, allowing the motor to remain motionless while maintaining position.
