Tempe, Ariz.— CPX1200 series CompactPCI computers can provide up to 15 to 25 6U cards in the same shelf space typically used by eight to 16 cards. The 3U (5.25-in. high) rack mounts 6U cards horizontally. One rack can contain five cards or four cards and a flexible drive-bay that supports peripherals such as floppy drive, hard disk, CD-ROM, and tape back-up units. Features include redundant fan modules; 150-W power supply; auto ranging ac and dc input versions usable in diverse international locations; hot swappable I/O boards per CompactPCI specifications; and field-replaceable active components backed by a five-year warranty. I/O modules can be accessed from the front or back. Motorola Computer Group
