Corrections

Staff -- Control Engineering, 9/1/2002

 In the 'Transmitter Calibration Frequency Comparison' graphic in 'Improvements to Pressure Sensing Instruments Enable New Practices,' CE, July '02, p. 43, the vertical axis was incorrectly numbered. The 'percent of span error' should have been displayed as 0-0.50%.

Also, the credit line at the bottom of all four diagrams in this article on pages 42-44 should have read: 'Courtesy: Rosemount Measurement Div., Emerson Process Management.'


Incorrectly proportioned bars were shown in the 'Types of PLCs in Use' graph in 'Product Focus: Programmable Logic Controllers, Nano Devices Lead Assault on Traditional PLC Applications,' CE, Aug. '02, p. 43. Percentage values marked on top of each bar in the chart were correct. The corrected graph is shown above.
