Citect, Toshiba plan open-automation solutions

Sydney, Australia - Citect and Toshiba International Corp. (Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia) expanded their existing 10-month-old cooperation agreement on Sept. 9 by signing a new joint venture agreement. The firms state that they formed their joint venture to deliver fully integrated control systems featuring Toshiba's new V-Series hybrid controllers and Citect's SCADA software and integration services to process industries throughout Australia.
