Marlborough, MA - Spider8 is an integrated digital measurement system that includes what is needed for measurement, including signal conditioning, A/D conversion, filtering, and data acquisition built into a compact housing. Spider8 plug-in modules, which can be connected to any PC or laptop via a serial, parallel, or USP port, are available for the measurement of strain, force, torque, weight, displacement, pressure, and other parameters using inductive, potentiometric, and strain gage-based transducers. Frequency/pulse counters for encoders, resolvers, and tachometers are also available, as are electrically isolated imputes for temperature measurement or measuring dc voltages, dc currents, or resistance.
