Placentia, CA - Model 230A multi-network cable tester and Model 231A deluxe multi-network cable tester are low cost, battery-powered cable testers that can be used almost universally with any network cable. Both devices are stand-alone units. The Model 230A can be used to test Ethernet (BNC), 10baseT (UTP/STP), and other network cables. The Model 231A is said to easily read correct pin configurations of most popular network cables including 10baseT, 100baseTx, 10base2, Token Ring cables, etc. Both testers measure a compact 2.37 x 1.0 x 4.25 in. and feature a protective rubber boot, belt clip, and remote terminator storage.
