GE Fanuc acquires Mountain Systems

Charlottesville, VA; Green Bay, WI—GE Fanuc Automation Americas Inc. recently acquired Mountain Systems Inc., which provides advanced manufacturing execution systems (MES) for a variety of industries, including consumer packaged goods, food and beverage, life sciences, and pulp and paper. Mountain says its integrated software helps users manufacture consumer health care products, ensure highest batch-to-batch quality at international breweries, and reduce the cost of manufacturing vehicles while improving the accuracy and availability of safety-related recall information. Terms were not disclosed.
