Control & Automation Buyer's Guide

Staff -- Control Engineering, 8/15/2003

ONLINE USER'S GUIDE

Welcome to your comprehensive resource for thousands of control and automation products and connection to more than 7,000 manufacturers in these areas. Products are grouped according to more than 700 categories and subcategories—including hardware and software—from accelerometers to controllers, networks, sensors, and workstations, to help you find the best source for your process control, discrete manufacturing, and hybrid applications.

In print, Control & Automation Buyer's Guide is a supplement to Control Engineering and Instrumentation & Automation News.

The User's Guide provides descriptions and directions for getting the most from the print edition's Product Index (green pages), Product Locator (white pages), and Supplier Locator (yellow pages).

Sponsored sections include company profiles, Product Mart, and Literature Mart, which show companies' latest product offerings, catalogs, and brochures.

Online, the Buyer's Guide at www.controleng.com/buyersguide offers the following features:

  • Manufacturers update listings at any time to provide the most current product information possible and can take advantage of multimedia capabilities. Online, Buyer's Guide users may search by product group, major product categories, state, keyword or company on the first screen. Clicking on "search" reveals matches and, in some cases, allows further refining by subcategories.
  • Sponsoring companies are shown first; some with banners and buttons.
  • Drilling into an individual listing shows company contact information, hotlink, and product categories. Enhanced (sponsored) listings show logos, allow direct information requests and permit viewing videos, presentations, and document downloads.
  • The Online User's Guide describes the capabilities of the Control Engineering Buyer's Guide Online at www.controleng.com/buyersguide.

Information from the Online guide is also available at www.ianmag.com.

Control Engineering, Instrumentation & Automation News, and Buyer's Guide sponsors are pleased to provide these comprehensive resources for finding and purchasing products for control and automation.
