Linear Motor Encoder (LME) was developed for use in demanding high-speed applications. Specifically designed for the high speeds, high accelerations, and millions of cycles of linear motor movements, LME is available in 1 µm and 5 µm resolutions and has the smallest read head in its class. It uses proven magnetic tape technology and is impervious to dirt, moisture, and grime.
