Temperature/process controllers

E5AR 1/4-DIN and E5ER 1/8-DIN temperature/process controllers allow for integrated control of multiple zones or environmental factors such as temperature, pressure, and humidity. Multi-loop models provide a fast sampling response time of 50 ms, giving precise control for quick-changing temperatures in critical applications. Selectable inputs on all models include: thermocouples, Pt100 RTDs, analog current or analog voltage. Controllers are suited for applications requiring critical control of quick temperature changes and can also be used for semiconductor production lines and food and beverage sterilization processes.

Single-loop controllers

Bulletin 900-TC temperature controllers feature flexible, multi-function control, easy-to-use LED displays, and auto-tuning and self-tuning capabilities for improved control efficiency and fast start ups. This cost- and space-saving solution is suited for a range of industrial electric heating and temperature control applications, including food and beverage processing, chemical processing, packaging, and pharmaceutical. Controllers are available in 5-, 3-, and 2-amp relay contact outputs; 12-V dc fixed-voltage outputs to drive solid-state relays; or 4-20 mA analog output. Dual 4-digit LED displays on the front panel let operators instantly compare process and setpoint values.

Plant information system

Exaquantum/Batch plant information management system (PIMS) software is designed specifically for the batch production industry. OPC-based application brings the advantages of open standards and productivity improvement tools to batch process control. It provides out-of-the-box functionality, features for batch reporting, and analysis that delivers tangible benefits and low total cost of ownership. ISA S88-based information system is particularly appropriate for the chemicals and pharmaceuticals industries. It provides analysis and reporting facilities, collecting, storing, and displaying current and historical data from batch production, equipment, and recipe sources.

Pressure gauges

Industrial process thermoplastic pressure gauges monitor vacuum and positive system pressures up to 15,000 psi in the chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas, power, pulp and paper, and other general industries. Featuring 115- and 160-mm dial sizes in lower-back mount and lower mount configurations, these solid-front gauges can be ordered with male NPT or Swagelok tube adapter end connections. Gauges are available unfilled or liquid-filled with glycerin or silicone and feature a thermoplastic turret-style case and blowout back for use in severe service. A threaded cover ring allows easy access to the adjustable pointer, and the back plate can be removed easily for liquid filling.

Process control software

Labtech Notebook and Control version 13 adds VBScript and JavaScript Blocks and new debugging tools. Enhancements are designed to speed the development of new applications and provide faster and more intuitive verification of acquired data. New Script Icon interfaces VBScript or JavaScript to other Labtech blocks. Applications using the icon include complex formulas or other manipulation of real-time data. Redesigned Build-Time provides an interactive debugging environment where users can create an application, run and stop it at will, and inspect its real-time data by passing the mouse over the application's icons.
