Terminal interacts with Ethernet-based I/O systems

Opto 22's OptoTerminal-G75

OptoTerminal-G75 from Opto 22 is a new graphics-based operator interface to be used with the company's Ethernet-based I/O systems. This mountable, color display terminal is used to monitor, send commands to, and receive real-time data from plant-floor equipment and other devices and systems connected to Opto 22's hardware for automation, data acquisition, remote monitoring, and control. OptoTerminal-G75 also complies with NEMA-4 when properly mounted, and includes object-based screen development software, as well as compact size and durability.

OptoTerminal-G75 is programmed using Qlarity Foundry software, which provides an object-oriented programming environment for application design and integration. The software comes with a customized object library for building interface screens. These objects include text, geometric shapes, buttons, gauges, grids, meters and other graphics that can be sized, scaled, and placed as needed.

Opto 22 adds that its OptoTerminals are ideal for factory automation, discrete manufacturing, and equipment monitoring applications. OptoTerminals also are industrially hardened to operate in many challenging environments, and meet NEMA-4's specifications for hose down, icing, and salt spray.

Available separately for each OptoTerminal model is OptoTermCable-G70 and OptoTermCable-G75, which are power and serial cables that are convenient for programming an OptoTerminal on a desk or location other than where the terminal will be installed. www.Opto22.com
