Exclusive: Connectivity interface for PLC networks

DeltaV Virtual I/O Module network gateway provides native DeltaV connectivity to PLC networks using the Modbus TCP/IP or Ethernet/IP protocol. Multi-purpose Ethernet adaptor is also used with the company's mimic process simulation software for non-intrusive I/O simulation of the DeltaV system. With the PLC integration drivers, the virtual I/O module lets data from PLC Ethernet networks look like native DeltaV I/O registers. Module is installed on a DeltaV carrier and uses standard DeltaV power supply. Set-up is quick and easy using the VIMNet Utility, included with the product.
