Camarillo, CA— Near yearend 2005, Advanced Motion Controls (AMC) announced shipment of its millionth servo drive. It was a significant milestone in the company's history, considering that AMC was founded in 1988 as a two-person start-up.

To celebrate, AMC employees built special commemorative servo drive units for the actual customer—a manufacturer of high-speed, precision wire bonding machines for IC fabrication—and AMC's original founders, Sandor Barta and Daniel Schoenewald.
