Linux for industrial applications

Staff -- Control Engineering, 2/1/2006

Embedded Control

Blue Collar Linux is now available in WinSystem's -40-85 °C EPIC, PC/104, PC/104-Plus, and EBX single board computers (SBCs). Implementation of GNU/Linux provides a way to embed Linux for industrial applications. Integrated with the company's x86-based products, it provides a starting point for developing applications in machine control, instrumentation, COTS/military, machine-to-machine communications, pipeline, and more. Systems include a Web server, Telnet access, ftp, and serial terminal support. Development kits include board specific drivers, documentation, cables, and a quick start guide. www.winsystems.com WinSystems
