Remote RadEye HR high-resolution detachable x-ray sensitive camera head is intended for very small space radiation imaging applications. Camera contains a 2-D CMOS photodiode array with 22.5 µm pixel size, an intrinsic resolution of 22 line-pairs per mm. Sensor electronics are mounted in a separate enclosure that can be mounted remotely and interconnected via a 1-m long cable supplied with the x-ray sensor module. Designed for portable applications, it is also useful in fixed installations where unusually dense packaging conditions need to be optimized. Detachable sensor module is housed in a rugged, steel enclosure with a stainless-steel cover and carbon fiber window. Standard grade sensor is rated for operation with x-ray energies ranging from 10-90 keV. Image data are output over a high-speed parallel (12-bit resolution) digital frame grabber interface or USB connection—for use with a PC or equivalent laptop at a rate of up to 1.3 fps. Required operating power is less than 5 W. www.rad-icon.com Rad-icon Imaging Corp.
